Hi Friends,
Let us come together and help each the first years!!!!
By doing this, it will make sure that we have build up a strong platform through which we can compete with the best!
Thanks

Hey First Years,
In regards to the internship process, my best advice to you is to start early and to use your network (i.e. alumni mentor, faculty mentor, past employers, 2nd year placements, friends)that you have created over the past few years. You could be amazed by how many people you can get in touch with through your network. I would recommend that you start thinking about places and people of whom you want to contact and start to make a list over Christmas break. The Spring semester always comes on fast so you want to hit the ground running when your start. Additionally, do not limit yourself to a specific location...it is good to extend yourself a little bit and develop contacts in other parts of the country...you never know what opportunities can present themselves in the future. Lastly, take initiative and be proactive in your search, you have to go out there and find your internship, it usually does not find you. I hope this helps and please contact me if you have any questions regarding the internship process.
Thanks,
Kyle
